A local Gospel Skouspel will be held at Manna Christian Fellowship in White River on 11 March. The gospel show was originally created by Marinda Toerien in 2012 to showcase local talent. The event drew an audience of 1400 during 2015.
“You can’t believe the talent that we have right under our noses,” said Toerien, organiser of the event. “It is hair raising beautiful.” All the artists are locals from surrounding areas in the Lowveld.
All the funds go towards Children in Distress. This is a non-profit organisation which feeds over 3 420 children, adult caregivers, child headed homes and European families every day.
The show starts are 18:30 for 19:00 and is R100 for adults and R20 for children under 18 years. For more information contact 013-750-1406 or 082-441-6694.
