According to Wikipedia, “the client application was created by WhatsApp Inc. of Mountain View, California, which was acquired by Facebook in February 2014 for approximately US$ 19.3 billion. It became the world’s most popular messaging application by 2015 and has over 1.5 billion users worldwide as of February 2018. It has become the primary means of communication in multiple countries.
WhatsApp released a standalone business app targeted at small business owners, called WhatsApp Business, to allow companies to communicate with customers who use the standard WhatsApp client. WhatsApp has recently submitted a new update through the Google Play Beta Program, bringing the Business version up to 2.19.117. WhatsApp has implemented a Dark Splash Screen in the WhatsApp Messenger beta for Android 2.19.311. The Dark Splash Screen is already visible for everyone having an Android version that supports the Dark Mode. In the update for WhatsApp Business, WhatsApp has added the same redesigned Dark Splash Screen.
Introducing Fingerprint Lock for Android
Earlier this year, WhatsApp rolled out Touch ID and Face ID for iPhone to provide an extra layer of security for WhatsApp users. WhatsApp introducing similar authentication, allowing you to unlock the app with your fingerprint, on supported Android phones. To enable it, tap Settings > Account > Privacy > Fingerprint lock. Turn on Unlock with fingerprint, and confirm your fingerprint.
Bringing the WhatsApp Business App to iPhone:

WhatsApp to start streaming trailer videos from Netflix
The last year, WhatsApp has implemented a feature that allowed to play videos (from specific sources) within WhatsApp. The feature was implemented on iOS, Android and WhatsApp Web/Desktop as well. Recently, WhatsApp started to work to implement more services, and we have discovered something new. The possibility to play videos from Netflix is only available for WhatsApp on iOS. Be sure to have installed the latest version available from the App Store.
