In today’s economic climate, it is a milestone for a company to reach 20 years of dedicated and professional service to their customers.
“It is with great excitement that we mark this day as Tirhani’s 20th anniversary. As many of you know, Tirhani started as a Close Corporation on 10 September 1999 and has since then grown exponentially to become a market leader skills training provider that adds significant value to human development and profitability of enterprises through quality Education, Training and Development and Consulting Services focused to benefit our clients, personnel and shareholders. In 2005 Tirhani was registered as a private company and in 2008 Tirhani Skills Training and Skills for Africa merged and now trade as Tirhani Skills for Africa,” Ronnie Maartens said.
Tirhani Skills Training (Pty) Ltd trading as Tirhani Skills for Africa is an accredited Education, Training and Development Company and a registered Private FET College situated in Sabie. “We have achieved great accomplishments over the years including country-wide training in all provinces and neighbouring countries; completion of multiple skills development programmes and learnerships and training various people originating from rural and previously disadvantaged communities.”
“Our mission is to provide international de facto Education, training and Development, Consulting and Support Services, to decision-makers who are serious about their business and who place a high value on productivity, cost, knowledge base, and personnel in maintaining a competitive advantage.”
Tirhani and its partnership with various other providers provide access to various education, training and development interventions within the broader forestry and sawmilling industries and outside these industries. According to Ronnie, the support of their clients contributed to their success. “We acknowledge that the number one factor in our continued success was the clients that have supported us over the years. Our clients include, amongst others, York Timbers, Sappi, SANPARKS, PG Bison, Normandien Farms, Timrite, Singisi Forest Products, Swaziland Plantations and Rockland Mills. We are honoured to work with you and we would like to thank you for giving us opportunities to help you achieve your company goals and vision of success while making a continual impact in the lives of the people we train.”
They present various short courses, skills programmes and Learnerships on-site or in-house countrywide, in all provinces and neighbouring countries.
