Loyalty and commitment is key

Part of Sabie Poles in Sabie’s mission statement is: “The principle of honesty, excellent customer service and the best quality at a fair price has always been our basis of doing business over the past 2 decades. Our commitment and open-door policy to the biggest asset, the staff, ensured that the total team grew over the years with a loyalty that is a scarce commodity in the industry today. Ongoing staff training ensures that all quality and safety aspects are being upheld. As far as possible we try to employ people from our local community, hence empowering and uplifting the community.”

Isaac Maile (49) husband and father of five, supervisor at the company is an example that Sabie Poles honours their mission statement.  He recently received his 21 year loyal service award from Steve Bosch, Production Manager, who himself has in excess of 20 years service.   Isaac heard from a family member of a vacancy at Sabie Poles, applied for the position of stacker and the rest is history.

“Sabie Poles is a good company, very loyal and committed to their workers, and it gives me great pleasure if we reach our yearly targets.  The owners are gentle, nice people, caring about the staff,” said Isaac.  Steve said: “Isaac has always been there for us at Sabie Poles.  With the business growing and exporting to Dubai, Swaziland, Botswana and Mozambique, we appreciate his commitment and loyalty.  He is a good leader for his people in the work environment.   I thank Isaac for being there for the past 21 years, as well as his support in ensuring our company stay true to our mission.”
