A friendly game of soccer was played at the Wilgeboom soccer field on the evening of October 10TH, between Graskop Total Football Club (GTFC) and Graskop Taxi Association Football Club (GTAFC).

The first goal of the game came from Tukisho Mashego (GTAFC) on the 15th minute. He struck a shot that went from the corner kick spot to the back of the net. It was a magnificent goal that left the opponent in shock. GTFC responded on the 24th minute after Famous Malete found the GTAFC goalkeeper wanting.

Cedrick Makhubedu (GTAFC) scored a long-range shot from the centre line, the ball stunned GTFC goalkeeper, Erick “Mense” Nonyane, but it is disallowed.

GTAFC proved to be the strongest team. They managed to leave holes in the GTFC defence to subsequently secure an impressive 6-3 win. GTFC coach, Joe “Mjomana” Chiloane, said that his team showed a lot of character, he was confident that they will regroup and perform much better in the following matches. Goal scorers for GTAFC included Cargo Skhosana, Robert Mashego, Stanley “Bhiri” Mohlala, Tukisho Mashego (hat trick). Noel Chiloane from GTFC scored a brace.
