Eskom’s Mpumalanga Operating Unit applauds the following municipalities in the Mpumalanga Province, Steve Tshwete, Pixley Ka Seme, Bushbuckridge, Thembisile Hani, Dr JS Moroka, Nkomazi, and Msukaligwa for their continuous commitment in servicing their accounts in line with the electricity supply agreement.
The Eskom Municipal debt in Mpumalanga Province is over R3 billion and estimated at R14 billion nationally. “I am confident that other municipalities in the province and elsewhere in the country will emulate a good payment culture as demonstrated by these municipalities. Municipalities who have been granted payment arrangements are advised to adhere to their respective payment plans.
