Panorama Secondary in Graskop has achieved 91, 3% pass rate in the 2017 final matric results. It is an improvement from 90, 6% the school received in the previous year. 23 learners sat for the final exams with a clear plan to pass with flying colours, paving a path to their preferred institutions of higher learning.
The principal, Council Lebjane, said that the school is very proud to produce such outstanding results.
He said that it symbolises the honest commitment put in by educators, to ensure that each learner is geared towards success.
“We made it through the support of our School Governing Body (SGB), parents and various stakeholders in Graskop. As the principal, I really appreciate the hard work of educators and learners. Remember, Panorama has only one stream (Maths and Science), we achieved position three, but our Bachelor’s percentage (66, 67%) makes us number one. 2018 matriculants must learn from the class of 2017. I know they can make us proud and achieve more than 92%,” said Lebjane.
