On the mountain with God…

During the weekend of September 8-10, Christian Family Church International (CFCI) in Sabie hosted their first and second Bible College students at the John Maxwell Leadership camp.  The first year students focused on developing the leader within, whilst the second year students focused on developing the leaders around them.

“On Saturday morning we left the church at 6 am for a short hike into the mountains, our aim was to be able to see the entire Sabie as we prayed over the town, the community, the businesses and all the families residing in Sabie.  The Spirit of the Lord showed up mightily on the mountaintop and each student left there with something new in their hearts for Sabie.  Thereafter we went back to church for our team building morning done by ‘At The Heart Teaming’, all the way from Kempton Park.  Our students were beyond blessed with the different ways in which team building can be done and how to eliminate problematic situations within your team,” said Pastor Karen Wessels of CFCI.

“We can fully recommend At The Heart Teaming, they can be found on Facebook as ATH teaming. The lectures continued with the knowledge that impacts for life. On Saturday evening a worship session was held, restoring hurts, healing the broken-hearted, giving them a fresh revelation and joy. The Holy Spirit was present and we can just give God all the Glory.

Sometimes, we need to throw out the programs that put a lid on that which God wants to do.  We had a blessed weekend with our students.

Our dreams are a gift from God. Don’t ever stop dreaming all that God put in your heart. He makes the impossible possible.
