Sabie SAPS is shocked by an act of criminality targeting a bus terminal which has stood for many years, providing shelter for commuters in times of rain and cold weather.
The shameless thieves have already stolen four corrugated iron plates from the bus terminal roof and their appetite for destruction is a cause for concern.
The spokesperson at Sabie Police, Sergeant Mandy Mculu, said that the station will not tolerate any form of vandalism to town property. She added that such cases call for a continuous working relationship between SAPS and the residents.
“We would like to call upon anyone with information to contact the police station (Community Service Centre) to help us with identifying those who are responsible. Sabie has no place for people who vandalise state property. No one is allowed to do as they please with the property that is meant to serve the community,” said Mculu.
