Summerhill collects blankets for vulnerable children

Summerhill Prep School in Hazyview spent a morning at the Hazyview Junction on Saturday, May 27 to collect blankets and or money for Sizabantwana. The learners collected R7 174.50 with which 177 blankets were bought. A further seven blankets were donated.

SizaBantwana provides care and support for around 750 children, orphaned or made vulnerable as a result of HIV/Aids. The non profit organisation (NPO) operates in the Hazyview and Bushbuckridge district. After school, the children are served a meal at the SizaBantwana care centre.
